The Euler Faculty

The Euler Faculty are identity-checked, safeguarding-vetted teachers who write and review the championship’s problems and, on STELLA, tutor. One profile serves both euler.swiss and stella.academy.

Become a Faculty Member in five minutes

Paste your CV or LinkedIn text. The wizard drafts your profile; you review every word before anything is published.

Safeguarding, from day one: no public social-media handles on child-facing views; all contact, booking and payment stays on-platform. Accreditation is earned only: identity check, safeguarding vetting, contribution record. It cannot be bought, at any tier, ever. Faculty who write championship problems may not tutor registered players during the competition year.

Titles are shown exactly as entered, from Prof downwards. Euler does not award or verify academic titles; choose one you hold and can support if asked (Code of Conduct, Faculty point 1). A Faculty account is an adult account: real name and country are correct here and are never copied to any child profile.

Your teaching, as declared (every field optional)

Shown to parents on your profile card and used as a filter in the STELLA directory, labelled as declared, not verified by Euler, like your title. Never an input to any ranking or index. The year you began teaching stays private: parents see only the band under 5 years · 5–10 years · more than 10 years, recomputed each year.

A year from 1950 to 2026; the band is what parents see.

Your CV text is used only to draft your profile line. It stays with your Faculty account, is never published as pasted and is never shown to a child; you can delete it from your Faculty page at any time.

The draft is made by a small rule set in the build: no AI reads your text, and it is sent to no one. When Leo drafts it, this line will read: “Leo (AI) drafts this from your text; your text is sent to Leo to draft the profile and is not stored.” A computer program, not a person. Named for Leonhard Euler.

What the Faculty is

Standing at Euler is earned, not bought. The Faculty Terms are drafted for counsel’s review: read the outline.

Faculty honours

The contributors’ board: a world list and, where a country has three or more credited Faculty, a country list. For every level two counts, never blended: Contributed (accepted problems) and Reviewed (verdicts with a reason on problems that reached a decision). Your own row joins the moment a problem of yours is accepted or a review of yours reaches a decision. Reviewer agreement rates are private to each reviewer, never shown here.

The review queue

81 problems at Level 1 are machine-verified and await peer review (81 calibrating on real attempts); 80 problems at Level 2 are machine-verified and await peer review (80 calibrating on real attempts); 82 problems at Level 3 are machine-verified and await peer review (82 calibrating on real attempts); 91 problems at Level 4 are machine-verified and await peer review (91 calibrating on real attempts); 92 problems at Level 5 are machine-verified and await peer review (92 calibrating on real attempts).

Problems at Levels 1–5 are machine-verified, calibrated on real attempts and peer-reviewed by the Euler Faculty; Levels 6–7 add the Panel. A problem is usable from the moment it passes the machine; two Faculty reviewers who agree lift it to the peer tier. Faculty members review from this page once their email is confirmed.
