Paid Plans and Refund Policy: outline (not in force)
| Version | v1.0 draft (outline) |
| Date | 3 October 2026 |
| Status | Draft for counsel's review, not yet in force. No paid plan exists and no payment is taken at launch |
| Controller | Schweizer Bildungsglobus AG (Swiss eduGLOBE AG), c/o Benediktiner Kloster Disentis, Via Claustra 1, 7180 Disentis/Mustér, Switzerland, UID CHE-219.746.858 (correspondence: Leimbachstrasse 153, 8041 Zürich) |
| Applies to | euler.swiss and stella.academy |
This document is not in force. The Platform takes no payment of any kind at launch on 11 October 2026. The payments path is built but switched off. This outline records the terms that will apply when paid plans open, so that counsel can review them before the first sale and so that every public page that says "coming" is already consistent with them. It will become a full policy, with prices, before the switch is turned on.
1. What is always included
The levels that are open on euler.swiss are included for every registered child. The record of your child's work, after every adventure, is included for every family. Nothing that affects progress in the Championship is ever behind a payment. Your child's account never shows a price, a card form or a purchase button. Eulos are points with no cash value and are never sold.
2. The plans (names only; prices to follow)
The plans below are planned. Their shape may change before launch of payments. Prices are not yet set and nothing here is an offer.
| Plan | Who buys it | What it adds | Price |
|---|---|---|---|
| Insights Plus | Account Holder (parent) | Delivery of adventure reports by e-mail or push at a rhythm you choose; STELLA's reading of the record (what the misses have in common, what to practise next) | [PLACEHOLDER: CHF, incl. VAT] per month / per year |
| Insights Pro | Account Holder | Insights Plus and [PLACEHOLDER: contents] | [PLACEHOLDER] |
| Family Plan | Account Holder | Leo coaching on missed problems and [PLACEHOLDER: contents]; covers [PLACEHOLDER: number] children | [PLACEHOLDER] |
| Euler Faculty plans | Faculty Member (adult) | [PLACEHOLDER: contents] | [PLACEHOLDER] |
| STELLA tutor lessons | Account Holder | A live lesson with a vetted Faculty Member; the tutor receives 75 per cent of the price | Set per tutor, shown before booking |
[PLACEHOLDER: the family-plan shape (flat or tiered) is an open founder decision; it defines the products and must be settled before this outline becomes a policy.]
3. Price indication (Swiss Price Indication Ordinance)
Every price shown to a consumer is the actual price payable in Swiss francs (CHF), including VAT and all public charges. Where a price is also shown in another currency (EUR, USD, ZAR and others), it is for information and the CHF price governs for Swiss customers; for customers abroad the charge in their currency is shown before they confirm. For a subscription, the price screen states the billing period, the renewal rule, any minimum term and how to cancel, before the order is placed. We do not use the word "free" in public copy; what costs nothing is "included".
4. How a purchase is made (e-commerce particulars)
- You choose a plan on your parent dashboard. Only an adult account can reach this screen; a route test blocks any child path.
- You see a summary: plan, price in CHF including VAT, billing period, renewal, cancellation, the children the plan covers.
- You can correct any input before you confirm.
- You confirm and pay through Stripe (card, TWINT for Swiss parents, Apple Pay, Google Pay and local methods where available). Card details are entered on Stripe's secure form and never reach our servers.
- We confirm the order at once by e-mail, with a link to the receipt. The e-mail is short; details are behind your login.
A first successful payment is also a tier-3 verification event for your account and is recorded as such.
5. Subscriptions, renewal and cancellation
- Plans renew automatically at the end of each period unless cancelled. We remind you by e-mail before the first renewal of a yearly plan. [COUNSEL: whether a reminder before each renewal is required for consumers in any target market.]
- You may cancel at any time from your dashboard, with one click, and no reason is needed. Cancellation stops the next renewal; you keep access until the end of the period you have paid for.
- We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice by e-mail; a price change applies only from your next renewal, and you may cancel before it.
6. Refunds
Switzerland has no statutory right of withdrawal for online subscriptions. We give the following rights by contract, to every customer wherever they live:
- Within 14 days of your first purchase of any plan, you may cancel and receive a pro-rata refund for the unused part of the period. [COUNSEL and founder: the Context Brief (PAY-06) states a pro-rata refund within 14 days; the backend plan states a full refund within 14 days of first purchase and pro-rata after. Confirm which rule applies. Where mandatory law in your country gives you a full 14-day right of withdrawal, that right applies.]
- At any time, if a child account was involved in a purchase in error (for example a purchase triggered from a child session through a fault on our side), you receive a full refund and we investigate the fault.
- If we withdraw a paid feature you have paid for, we refund the unused part of the period.
- Lessons: a lesson cancelled by you more than [PLACEHOLDER: hours] before its start is refunded in full; cancelled later, [PLACEHOLDER: rule]. A lesson cancelled by the tutor or not held is refunded in full. [PLACEHOLDER: windows to be set with the Faculty Terms.]
Refunds go to the original payment method within [PLACEHOLDER: days]. We bear payment-provider fees on refunds. Refunds never affect your child's record, level, Eulos, Euler Index or Championship standing.
7. Payment provider and data
Payments are processed by Stripe Payments Europe Ltd, Dublin, Ireland (with Stripe, LLC, United States, certified under the Swiss–U.S. Data Privacy Framework). Stripe receives your name as cardholder, your card or payment details, your e-mail address, the plan code and the Euler IDs the plan covers. It never receives a child's name, year of birth or school. Stripe is named in the Privacy Notice for Parents and the Sub-processor List. Card details never touch our systems.
8. Invoices, receipts and tax
Each payment produces a receipt with our company name, address and VAT number [PLACEHOLDER: CHE-xxx.xxx.xxx MWST], the plan, the period, the price and the VAT. Receipts are available on your dashboard. VAT or GST is calculated for your country at checkout and shown before you pay. [COUNSEL and tax adviser: Swiss VAT treatment of the plans (exempt education versus taxable electronic service) and the registration position in the EU (non-Union OSS), the United Kingdom, South Africa and Korea before the first sale there.]
9. Faculty payouts (summary; the Faculty Terms govern)
For a tutor lesson, the parent pays the full price to us and the tutor receives 75 per cent through the payout rail chosen at onboarding. Identity verification of the tutor is done by the payout provider. Tax on a tutor's earnings is the tutor's responsibility. None of this changes what you pay or your refund rights.
10. Failed payments and declines
A declined payment is not the end: we show what to try (another card, a wallet, asking your bank to allow international online payments), offer payment by invoice and bank transfer for yearly plans, and allow a school or partner to pay for its families on one invoice. If payment is not yet possible in your country, we say so and you may leave an e-mail address to be told when it is.
11. Disputes
Write to privacy@euler.swiss or [PLACEHOLDER: billing contact e-mail] first; we answer within 14 days. You may also dispute a charge with your card issuer. Nothing here limits any right you have under mandatory consumer law in the country where you live. The Terms of Use for Parents govern law and forum.
